Ken Fletcher Park, Tennyson QLD

Ken Fletcher Park, formerly on the site of a demolished power station, comprises a children’s playground, amphitheatre, public plaza, picnic facilities with shade areas and an amenities block.

Project Design Brief

The parklands also contain lighting and CCTV cameras for security. The park designers required all the underground cabling to be secured and protected from damage from the typical park traffic such as mowers and grass slashers.

ACO's Solution

ACO’s Polycreteregistration mark Pits with PowerLokregistration mark lids met all the designers’ criteria. The PowerLok® lid system is a patented barless system which allows lids to be secured to ACO’s cable pits through a fastened bracket.

ACO has a variety of security options available. The lid can be adapted for ACO’s range of plastic Polycreteregistration mark Pits to meet specific customer requirements.
