A 30-storey premium office tower in the Sydney CBD with views of Circular Quay and Sydney Harbour features contemporary design and holds a 6-Star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. Sustainability measures include a basement sewage treatment plant that recycles 90% of wastewater, rooftop solar panels, and a high-efficiency chilled beam air-conditioning system to reduce energy and water use.
Project Design Brief
The building required underground services including lighting, communications, power, and CCTV. Designers wanted new service pits to blend seamlessly with a variety of hardstand pavements, while access covers over utilities needed to be adaptable to multiple pavement finishes. The covers needed to be locked into their frames for security.
