Masada Private Hospital - St Kilda, VIC
Masada Private Hospital is a fully accredited 94-bed acute medical and surgical facility, providing specialised dermatology, early parenting and rehabilitation services. The hospital includes a mix of private and shared accommodation for patients and their families, while its four operating theatres are equipped to support both minor and complex surgical procedures.
Project Design Brief
The project required the integration of a large above-ground electrical switchboard to support the site’s electrical infrastructure. To accommodate the associated services, a masonry enclosure was constructed around the switchboard installation. Due to the size of the service opening and the need for ongoing maintenance access, designers required a large, multi-part access cover solution capable of providing safe, secure and reliable access to the underlying infrastructure.

- 12-part Rhinocast Infill multi-part access cover system.
- ACO’s Technical Services department provided the structural designer with a detailed rebate and beam drawing for the 12-part access cover to be incorporated into the concrete slab.
