Canberra Institute Technology (CIT) - Woden, ACT

The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is the ACT’s public provider of vocational education and training. With five campuses across Canberra, CIT delivers approximately 18,000 course enrolments annually, supporting the development of a skilled workforce and contributing to the region’s economic and social growth.

Project Design Brief

The $100 million six-storey learning facility at CIT Woden includes new pavement finishes across the site. Designers aimed to maintain a clean and cohesive appearance by minimising visible underground infrastructure. New electrical pits were required to support lighting, communications, and CCTV upgrades, with pit covers specified to blend seamlessly with the surrounding pavement.
